Continental
- The Captain's Bar which
is frequented by businessmen, offers continental breakfast
from 6:30 am to 10 am and a lunch buffet from 12 noon
to 2 pm from Monday to Friday. Lechon a local favourite
speciality, is the newest fare in the buffet lunch supplementing
the roast carving station which has been a favourite staple
of the buffet. In the evenings, the Captain's Bar features
superb entertainment by live bands from 9 pm nightly except
Sundays. Famed Filipino singers and top musical artists
perform on selected Saturday nights. (open for breakfast
from 6:30 am to 10 am, lunch from 12 nn to 2 pm on Monday
to Friday; from 7 am to 2 am on Saturday; from 10 am to
2 am on Sunday)
Asian cuisine - The
Clipper Lounge offers a relaxing ambience and serves
a unique selection of Asian specialities, as well as fresh
Japanese sushi,
sashimi, and the exotic flavours of Filipino, Thai, Chinese,
and Japanese noodle preparations. The a la carte menu
is available from 11:30 am - 9:00 pm on weekdays. (open
from 11:30 am to 2 am, Monday to Friday and from 6 pm
to 2 am on Saturday)
Cigar divan - A haven for
cigar lovers, Kipling's exudes
a sophisticated milieu. The bar has an extensive selection
of single malt whisky in a chic and well-appointed lounge.

Cakes, breads & pastries
- Frequented by habitues looking for freshly-baked cakes,
breads, pastries and even home-made ice cream, the Mandarin
Deli also offers light and heavy meals from sandwiches,
pastas and salads. For the businessman-on-the-go, the
Deli offers Express delivery proferring complete set menus
for those working or residing close to the hotel. Dine-in
facilities as well as take-away fare are also available.

and dinner daily. The Brasserie

a la carte menu is available, as well as daily breakfast,
lunch and dinner buffets. The Sunday brunch is perfect
for family gatherings, as a clown and magician keep children.

New Asia cuisine - Mandarin
Oriental's premier restaurant offers exquisite New Asian
cuisine crafted by award-winning chefs. It also boasts
delicately flavoured salads and appetizers, sumptuous
entrees, grilled items, gourmet desserts, as well as a
selection of fine wines from different regions of the
world. A businessman's lunch on weekdays and a nightly
"Degustation" menu are available. The Roxas
room which seats up to 20 persons, is ideal for private
gatherings, whether it be for business or socials. (open
for breakfast from 7 to 10:30 am, lunch from 11:30 am
- 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday and dinner from 6:30 pm to
10:30 pm daily)
Chinese - Awarded twice by
the Hong Kong Tourist Association for the Best Cuisine/Chef
and Best Restaurant categories, Tin
Hau boasts authentic Chinese cuisine, featuring
the diverse flavours of the Northern (Beijing, Szechuan,
Shanghai) and Southern (Guangzhou) regions of China. Tin
Hau's specialties range from dimsum to Peking Duck. Six
function rooms for private parties of up to 24 persons
are also available. Every Sunday, Tin Hau's lunch buffet
features a regular cycle of at least three appetisers,
eight hot dishes and three desserts; an "eat-all-you-can"
dim sum selection served a la carte style, and a separate
station for other Tin Hau specialties. (open for lunch
